About Callie
Founder & Senior Accountant
I’m Callie Spencer-Jones, and I’ve been working in the accounting industry since 1989. After starting out in a local chartered accountancy firm, I went on to complete my Diploma in Business Studies (Accounting) and founded CJ Accounting Services in 2014.
I became a member of ATAINZ in 2021 and am also a MYOB Certified Accountant. Over the years, I’ve worked with clients of all sizes, but my passion has always been helping small businesses and self-employed clients feel supported.
As a small practice, I can offer the kind of personal service that larger firms often can’t. I make sure every client’s accounting needs are met on time and with care, whether it’s GST, tax returns, payroll, or business advice.

About Nicole
Callie's daughter Nicole joined CJ Accounting in 2021. She first completed a Diploma in Environmental Management before discovering a passion for accounting and going on to complete her Diploma in Business Studies (Accounting) in 2024 - all while juggling pregnancies and raising young children.
Nicole brings fresh energy, attention to detail, and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting clients. She’s quickly become an invaluable part of the practice, helping us deliver reliable, down-to-earth accounting services while also bringing her own perspective as part of a new generation of small-business accountants.
When she’s not working, Nicole enjoys the outdoors - hunting, fishing, and diving are her go-to ways to recharge.
